research Interests

My research interests include Financial Econometrics, Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, Earnings Management, Mergers and Acquisitions, Industrial Organizations (including knowledge spillovers), Foreign Direct Investment, Emerging Markets and Banking.
I have held position of independent reviewer and examiners for a number of PhD thesis.

Impact

Creating an impact outside of academic boundary is an essential part of my research. whether it is environment (Carbon emission, biodiversity etc) or finding ways to create opportunity to access to finance for small and medium size business.

Sustainability

United Nations defined sustainability as “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”. We have a responsibility as researchers to work together with society, regulators and other stakeholders of business to ensure the we achieve sustainability in a consistent way.
